Racer Duncan Vincent will be here to tell you what it’s really like to live life in the fast-lane. Duncan, who has been working at Scotland’s famous racing circuit since he was 17, previously raced cars in a number of disciplines and holds the circuit’s out-right lap record of 49.7 seconds to cover 1.3miles in a Hayabusa-engined radical race car.
He has now swapped four-wheels for two and competed in the 400cc, 600cc and 1000cc Superstock categories. This year he’s racing the Suresafe Yamaha in the 600 Production class and will be on hand to answer any questions and chat about his exciting day job.
He will be joined by Knockhill’s Garry Stagg who will be giving a presentation throughout the day on the benefits of track days and how they can improve your riding.
Don’t miss the chance to win free tickets to watch the British Superbikes (BSB)when they visit for Knockhill in July, as well as the chance to scoop tickets for a race day meeting at the circuit.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who joined us for the ride-out to Helensburgh last week. It was good fun.
This week Brian will be leading a short ride-out to Callander - waterproofs at the ready! Please arrive at Harely’s at 5.30pm for a 6pm departure.
Helensburgh is the destination for this week’s ride-out, weather permitting. Please meet at 5.30pm for so we’re ready to go at 6pm. It will be a nice, leisurely run and we will be stopping to enjoy fish and chips when we get there. Everyone is welcome – the more the merrier!
Chris Bates became our first student to pass the new two-part motorcycle test and throw away his L-plates for good. Delighted Chris took our Direct Access deal and found his training at Harley’s well prepared him for both part one and part two of the newly introduced testing regime.
Chris said: “I absolutely loved my time at Harley’s Rider Training. The level of service and instruction was superb and I was delighted because I was able to fit my training around my work commitments. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and did their best to accommodate my needs. I’m looking forward to joining them all on their regular Tuesday night ride outs.”

This Tuesday’s ride out will be to Largs, so nice easy one for everyone to join us on. We will be leaving at 6pm, from the training centre so pop along a bit earlier for a coffee before we set off.
We will be stopping in Largs for some chips or something, so no need for dinner before we leave.
Everyone welcome, no matter how quick or slow you are.
We’re going to Inverary stopping off at Tyndrum for ‘fish and chips’ ! If you would like to come along be here ready to leave for 6pm.
We will not be stopping for fuel until Balloch so be ready with a full tank!

Harley’s have tickets to the Glasgow ‘A-Plant’ Tigers -V- Redcar Bears on Sunday 5th April 09 @ 4pm – Ashfield Stadium in Springburn, Glasgow and we are giving them away for FREE.
Its first come first serve and are limited to 4 tickets per person. So come on down and grab some while you can!
Unfortunately we have a stock take due on the 1st April so we wont be able to lead the ride out this evening.
